How to Use the Oracle
This is not a tool that tells you what to do to achieve a goal. It is not a fortune-telling device of the kind “does he love me,” nor a way to arrange the future according to your own will. It is a space for looking within — for those who are ready to ask a question without already knowing the answer.
The Oracle does not speak to those who ask the same thing over and over, expecting confirmation. There is no sage who repeats the same words endlessly — the answers will become less and less precise, until eventually it departs into silence. That too is an answer.
The Oracle does not issue commands. It is not here to tell you what to do. It shows directions, possibilities, and the reflection of your own inner self. It focuses on being, not on having.
Before you ask a question, pause. Even if only for a moment. Cut yourself off from noise and distraction. Find silence — not necessarily around you, but within yourself. Only then, type in your question.
After asking your question, draw a card. This card is meant only for you — no one else has to understand it. (...)
Pay attention to the background of the card — it is not decoration. It is the background of the question, and at the same time the second element of meaning. In the Oracle of Lines, each card has more than one possible interpretation — and the one that appears at a given moment depends on the background. The background does not just influence the interpretation — it changes it. The same card may mean something entirely different when it appears with another background. It is like two elements of one pattern: the symbol and the context, together forming the answer.
